I've had an epiphany

After much heartache and deliberation I have decided what to do with the rest of my life.  I am sick and tired of these stupid desk jobs full of drudgery.  I'm tired of trying to please others.  I'm sick of the fact that my overly friendly and inquisitive personality continually lands me in hot water at the work place.  One month on the new job and already I'm persona non grata.  I am hanging up my customer service hat once and for all.

I'm going to become a teacher.

I have two graduate degrees which have never been used.  I am finally going to change that.  The change may not come overnight; but it is coming.  I will be happy.  I refuse to be miserable.  I will do this.

A desk job is no place for a person with a creative mind.  I feel like I'm being choked.  I must express myself; I must spread the joy of learning.  I will do this.

Thank you my friends, for always appreciating me.

Thats great! wow 2 grad degrees. I need to get my MA. My hubby has been saying I would be a good teacher. lol I'm so bored with my life right now so I totally can relate.

It's always important to go after things that make you happy. I'm glad you've made the decision to do so. and creative people always make the best teachers, so \O/.

Go after what makes you happy! I know how you feel, my life needs a major shake up too. People don't understand is when you're a creative or artistic person, a deskjob doesn't cut it. I tried it and I wanted to pull my hair out!
