HELP

My tags are a mess. I need to streamline them. How do I do that? Also; I want to put my fics in order. Any suggestions? How do I do a master fic list? How do you guys see that? Should I open a new LJ account just for my fics and cut and paste them there? I am computer illiterate, so if you want to help me you have to talk to me like I am an idiot.

I'm not that good at explaining but I'll try -.-

For the master fic list, you need to make a post then place the date in the future (like 2020 for example) so that it'll be the first post all the time. After that you can link the fics over there, just copy the urls. If you want the title to be shown instead of the url you have to type a certain code(you can find it on the FAQ of livejournal) but from what I remember it goes something like title you want,place the url in quotations. I'm not so sure about that you can double check it on the FAQ part.

About your tags:
Go to Journal>>manage tags and you will find anything you want there~

About your fic list:
killboredom's suggestion is cool! That's what I did^^
And there's the other solution. You can change your layout with one that can accept links in your sidebox. You can create links with your fics there!
Or you can have a layout like mine, which accepts pictures and you can link your fics with pictures in your sidebox.

*waves* =D about the master ficlist, basically what killboredom said. but if you dont want people to come on your lj and the first thing they see is all your fics (maybe you want to be more...i dont know, 'private' with them?) then you could make a community for your fics. THAT i...don't really know how to do. the tags as well *blushes* because ive never had tags or done them on my lj. but i could help with the fic-list post if you want! i was super confused starting out on lj but i've learned a couple things...slowly haha

I need to get rid of tons of tags, maybe even delete a few entries. Then try and organize a master fic list and links. i'm not good with computers so I'm pretty confused.

if anything....try and go back to each tag and while you delete the old tags, set up one, "new" tag for everything under one group.

um, for example, when i wanted to find more of your fanfictions, i went to your tags page but noticed you had a lot like "fanfic" "fanfiction" "fan fiction" and then "yoochun" etc etc. if anything, go to each of these tags and remove the old ones and just re-type "fan fiction" or something. ....i really hope i helped ><
