I suppose TaeKwonDo was the start of it for me. Master Lee's wife and would take all the older girls on what we called Lady's Night and we'd spend the night and she'd take us to the few Asian stops in Chattanooga. I've always, always loved Japanese anime but never looked in the direction of Korea until then(first year of high school). My brother who also took Taekwondo(a bit of a prodigy) started learning Korean and I watched the Korean movies and Drama's with him. Then I saw Full House with Rain and I was intrigued. Then I went on a search on Youtube for Korean music and first thing that popped up was HUG from TVXQ. I watched it because the thumbnail had this amazingly preety/unusual looking guy on it (Jae of course). I cringed at the video and made fun of it but I kept searching and I found the Rising Sun video. I didn't even know it was the same guys at the time because of the hair difference and all the titles (TVXQ, DBSK, DBSG... etc). But damn, I was hooked so hard after I watched that. I remember getting chills up my spine at Changmin's scream. I couldn't get enough after that. I never really have been a huge fan of music before that. I listened to the radio but never bought CD's or even had a CD player but after I got into TVXQ I have an entire external hardrive dedicated to music and shelves and shelves of CD's. They really showed me into a new awesome world. Don't know how I lived without music before TVXQ but know I have something playing every second of the day. I guess there's no going back now lol
"Yusuke Iseya in Casshern" OMG I thought I was the only one on Earth who watched that! I loved it!
