LOL unni, your entire post amused me so much! It was a truly entertaining read.
My story is entirely more boring. My brother got into kpop first, a couple of years ago. He would watch korean programmes at home (music bank and variety shows) and force his kpop on everyone in the car and I got pretty turned off by it. Somehow he managed to get me to watch a couple of episodes of We Got Married and I was hooked. I haunted the subbing team's site every week to watch the latest subbed episodes. Back then, Kim Hyunjoong was in the show, together with a couple of other singers like Andy, Solbi, Alex, Hwanhee and Hwayobi. Naturally that led to listening to the songs from them. SS501 guested on the show, so I became curious abt them too. Then from my bro's kpop in the car, Seungri's Strong Baby got stuck in my head. I couldn't get it out! Crack crack crack crack indeed. So yeah, I slowly succumbed from there.
I found DBSK because I was trying to show my friend who Kim Hyunjoong's bff was. Also, I'm chinese and live in asia, so I'd very VAGUELY heard of DBSK's name being thrown around here and there in the past. Got curious, went to youtube, found their MKMF 2008 performance and never looked back. gif for effect XD
Junsu got me first because they were always bullying him and he always took it in his stride. Everything more or less escalated from there. Kpop, it's so easy to get hooked, another thing altogether to think about getting out. idk, I'd always liked much older men before this and never listened to dance music, nor spent much time on the internet. kpop has basically changed my life.
long post is long but i love telling my kpop story
