Help needed

I haven't been getting any responses to my fics on the other communities that I post on.  I'm thinking of not posting there any more, but it's kind of rude of me to stop it in case I've got silent readers.  I guess what I'm saying is, should I continue to post, drop it, or post a link to my own journal?  I think posting a link might be best.  If anyone is willing to work with stupid  me and tell me how to post a link at a community to my journal, please let me know.  Thanks.
