Local college is looking for adjuncts

onthethruway01I want to apply, but I have a fear of rejection. The local junior college where my husband goes is looking for teachers in the History department. I have two Masters degrees, one in Social Science (concentration in History) and the other in Asian Studies.
I have no teaching experience and that's why I'm afraid to apply. I don't even know what subjects they are talking about, they just say History.
Should I just go for it?
What do you think?
I hate being insecure. Not a good trait for a teacher, is it?
